The AIB Media Excellence Awards cover a range of entries from across the international media industry. The winners were announced at a gala evening in London in November 2007, where 150 media executives, journalists, editors and satellite operators from every continent gathered to celebrate excellence on a global scale. iTX was the overwhelming winner in the Gear of the Year category; the panel of 16 judges from media companies around the world singled out iTX for its revolutionary approach to production and playout, and were particularly impressed by the energy-saving opportunities it offers to a wide range of broadcasters. |
