OmniBus Opens New U.S. Testing and Support Facility

Denver Technical Center Focused on QA, IT-for-TV and Mobile TV Development

DENVER — Aug. 8, 2007 — OmniBus Systems, the award-winning provider of comprehensive broadcast automation and content management solutions, today announced the establishment of a new support and quality assurance center in Denver, Colo. The new facility has been set up to build on the global success of OmniBus iTX, the industry-leading software broadcast automation and playout system, now installed at major broadcasting and media organizations worldwide.

Technical support for the Americas will be centered at the OmniBus Denver facility, which is staffed by a specially picked team combining broadcast and IT systems experience. To support the continued expansion of the iTX installed base, key iTX customer sites will be replicated at the Denver facility for rapid and comprehensive diagnostics and advice. The Denver-based group will also undertake a quality assurance and testing program for the complete OmniBus product line, and initiate a dedicated testing program for mobile TV applications — an area of increasing significance for OmniBus.

"We've set up this new facility in response to the momentum created by the adoption of iTX by a wide range of broadcasters and media organizations," said Mike Oldham, CEO, OmniBus Systems. "Our recruitment for the center has given us a highly skilled expert team to support the development of broadcasting by IT, and the delivery of content to new platforms, which are key activities for OmniBus. We have ambitious plans to grow the staff and technical capability at this facility as a result of the rapid growth of our business in North America."

iTX is a revolutionary, next-generation software-based broadcast production and transmission solution that uses standard IT hardware and advanced software technology. This powerful, ground-breaking system builds on OmniBus Systems' high-end automation expertise to deliver automation, ingest, editing and content management and act as a video server, master controller, graphics device and logo inserter.
