DENVER — Oct. 5, 2007 — OmniBus Systems has been chosen by CSIA as one of the most innovative technology companies in Colorado and will be part of the annual CSIA DEMOgala Showcase on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, in Denver. At this same event, Tim Armstrong, president, Advertising and Commerce, North America, for Google, will be the keynote speaker.
The third-annual CSIA DEMOgala is a full day of Colorado technology innovation, a 20-session conference, and a series of events focused on discussions for nearly 1,000 leaders from Colorado's advanced technology industry, culminating with the keynote talk by Armstrong. The event is one of the key events and initiatives created by CSIA, the premiere IT association in Colorado, to increase awareness, showcase the innovation in the state and create business connections for Colorado technology companies.
"OmniBus Systems was chosen because of its innovation, technology and prowess in an industry that's highly competitive across the world," said Su Hawk, president of CSIA. "The company was selected from more than 150 nominees throughout Colorado, and we are very proud that it is part of the innovative leadership in our state. We are honored that the company will be demonstrating its technology in front of the technology community on October 11."
OmniBus has been at the forefront of innovation in the broadcast industry for more than 15 years, providing sophisticated master control, automation, playout and media content management solutions to broadcast, cable, satellite and telecom operators across the globe. Its latest product, iTX, is a groundbreaking digital video production and transmission solution that, for the first time, provides in software alone all the functionality required by a broadcast transmission chain. This single integrated solution replaces the traditional range of complex and expensive equipment at around half the installation cost and with energy cost savings of approximately 40 percent.
"OmniBus is delighted to be recognized by CSIA for its innovative use of technology," said Mike Oldham, CEO of OmniBus Systems. "Our solutions have always sought to deliver cutting-edge technology to the broadcast industry, and with iTX, our flagship product, we are once again leading the field as the industry moves increasingly towards IT-centric solutions. We are looking forward to showcasing our products alongside other technology companies in Colorado."
