NEW PRODUCT: OmniBus iTX for HD — OmniBus iTX for HD is the leading solution for flexible, high-end HD broadcasting. Already driving some of the world's most advanced HD broadcasting networks, this powerful IT-based automation and playout solution provides all the functionality of conventional systems, with many extra capabilities for broadcasters developing the next generation of HD services. These include full 1080p24 support, from ingest through to playout, and built-in Dolby® surround sound decoding/encoding. Cost-effective to install and run, iTX for HD allows broadcasters to create highly integrated and adaptable HD facilities with rapid return on investment and gives them the ability to scale easily to meet evolving requirements.

NEW PRODUCT: OmniBus iTX for Mobile — Based on the core OmniBus iTX technology, iTX for Mobile provides all the tools mobile TV operators need to deliver highly crafted channels, with baseband mixing, transitions and effects in a cost-effective, robust and highly scalable platform. With its IT-based architecture, iTX offers a familiar technical and operational experience for mobile TV operators, with many features essential for an efficient mobile TV workflow. These include video/audio transitions, logo insertions, voice-overs, two-dimensional DVE, insertion of advertising based on schedule time, cue tones, GPIs, SCTE 104 DPI or manual triggering, and support for a wide range of formats and bit-rates such as MPEG4, DV25/50, WM9, QuickTime® and MXF, with automatic up/down conversion. iTX for Mobile is on air in multi-channel installations with major U.S. broadcasters, solving the quality-cost-revenue conundrum for broadcasters and content owners launching distinctive services into the new media space.
