Broadcasters are increasingly under demand to make content available to cable and DBS providers, and on the Internet, in a variety of file formats for delivery direct to viewers. Preparing these on-demand content files requires not only encoding or transcoding to a specified bit rate, but also the addition of branding graphics, secondary audio tracks and promotional content.
