Shot Selection
The OmniBus SmartClient allows users to select the shots they want from any number of video clips, mark in and out points and combine pieces of content to create a shot list. Once complete, this shot list can be sent either as a project back to the OPUS Content Management System, where it can be picked up by another operator, or as an EDL to iTX Edit for further editing or to Final Cut Pro for craft editing.
Either whole clips or sections of a single or multiple clips can be easily marked and added to the selection list.
Clicking on the Selection tab on this window switches from the clip keyframes to the shot list, which can be reordered simply by clicking and dragging the shots. Each shot can be viewed in the video preview window and modified or removed from the shot list as required.

Events and their associated metadata which have been identified and marked up by operators using OPUS. Logging can also be viewed in the OmniBus SmartClient, added to the shot list and modified as necessary.
